Today first time I have searched something about Patna and I got that from your Web site. Your work is really very good for the place where there is no such IT companies. But there are always scope for improvement so please, if possible, add about the job opportunities as well as search of phone nos. based on persons name or vice versa.

It is so nice to see images of new Patna. Thank you for a great job. One day I would like to visit my birth place.

It's nice to see a site for Patna. The photographs are wonderful, it really takes me in the past. I am in Dubai and now whenever I miss my home Patna, I visit your site. I will tell more people here to visit your site. I have a complain though that you people have not added photographs of areas like Raja Bazaar, Ashiana Nagar, Jagdev Path, Danapur. Please consider my point and I think it will glow your photo-gallery even more.

PatnaDaily.Com is an excellent Web site. I learnt about it from my daughter who lives in Boston, last week. Since then I am regularly checking out your news from Patna. Perhaps if you could include a corner in your website which could unite old friends and rekindle the old memories.

Wishing your entire team the very best for exemplary efforts.

Only letters that laud the PatnaDaily seem to be published here. We need critical analysis of news from Bihar by the viewers. It is true that PatnaDaily cannot be critical of the ruling junta due to fear of recriminations in a political administration that is autocratic, anarchist and dictatorial mockery of democracy.

I guess PatnaDaily must move its operations out of Patna so that, when needed, it can criticize the government and its policies that are driving down Bihar in terms of physical and spiritual progress.

PatnaDaily is good but it must quit carrying only letters of praise and commendations. We need more than that. PatnaDaily readers are smart people and soon tire of the laudatory tone of all the letters.

Editor's reply:

First, thank you for visiting PatnaDaily.Com. We hope you'll continue to visit us on a regular basis.

As for your criticism that we publish only those letters that sing the praise of PatnaDaily.Com, we make absolutely no apology for that.

TrophyPatnaDaily.Com is the result of a few people who have immense love and respect for the city and state regardless of all of its negativity. This site is absolutely free and unlike other Web sites of India, we don't annoy you to death by thousands of blinking ads, hundreds of irritating and irrelevant pop-up screens, barraging you with tons of junk mails or publishing stale jokes that are a decade old making fun of Biharis. Heck, we don't even ask you to register with us, like many of the other sites force you to do before allowing you to enter.

We don't make any money by providing you the wealth of information and news that we make available to you on a 24x7x365 basis. So what's the reward for us? Besides self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment, it's the letters of our readers that keep us going. Even a one-line congratulatory message from one of our visitors is more gratifying than hundreds of rupees put together.

You may now ask that besides publishing the "positive" notes, we should make room for critical letters as well. Quite a reasonable question. However, there is just one small catch in that. These "critical" letters soon turn into "abusive" letters. We have received our share of such letters; letters that use four-letter words to describe the current RJD government in Bihar, letters that curse the Vajpayee government like there is no tomorrow and so on.

Frankly, we don't have to take such abuse since we don't owe anything to anyone. We can shut this site down in a heartbeat and save ourselves several thousands of rupees each year. But like I said earlier, it's the simple, heartwarming letters of our visitors that keep us motivated.

This is not to say that we don't get critical and intelligent letters. However, we neither have time nor willingness to go through such long, analytical, mostly abusive letters that will attract even more such letters from opposing groups and hence the decision to avoid them completely.

As you said, PatnaDaily's readers are smart people and we believe they are capable of bringing the necessary changes in Bihar with our without PatnaDaily.Com.

We don't know what future holds for PatnaDaily.Com but for now we will stick to our current policies.

We hope this clarifies our stand.

Thanks again for taking time to write to us and hoping this would not deter you from visiting PatnaDaily.Com.

Editor, PatnaDaily.Com

It always gives a healing touch after going through this Web site when some one is so far away from his motherland. Whenever I feel like having some "mitti ki khooshbu", I log in here. Mostly there are news, which has made Bihar a place and subject of mockery. But we all know that every civilization has its Ups and Down, so it's just matter of time. And there is not even a single % doubt about the potentials of any Bihari. People like me who are living miles away from Bihar always have fire in the belly. I wish for Bihar to make a comeback. Jai Bharat.

Being an old student of this college I request to give detail of the college on net so that students of other state can be benefit. This college used to have excellent faculties during our time. Discipline and guidance of professors was marvelous. I have all praise for this college.
