Indeed,
Its like being home away from home.
Hats off to those who have done such a
wonderful and appreciable job by
making such a masterpiece. More
special because my alma mater's pics
(St. Xavier's School) are there. I
would love to contribute in any
possible way. Hail Patna. Hail Bihar.

This
is a pretty good site with a bunch of
useful information it makes me feel
close to Patna it would be good if you
would include sports news, games and
all the other stuff. you could make a
link to direct them to a site of world
news.

Really
thrilled to see your site organised in
such a nice manner. Much information
as well as pics are available here so
as to make any Bihari easily
nostalgic. As I had completed my Elec.
Engg. from MIT Muzaffarpur, I had got
ample opportunity to visit nook and
corner of Patna and, here is your site
which gives pang of joy and sadness of
missing my Bihar.

I
happen to come across this site per
kind favour of Marcelle Pires. It has
brought back so many memories.
Although I am not from Patna I studied
at St Joseph's Convent as a boarder
from 1957 - 1967 together with my
sister Anne Francis. My mum and aunt
also attended SJC. I left for England
in January 1968 and have never been
back. I am in touch with a few of my
contemporaries but it would be so nice
if other batch-mates would post their
messages. Come on Poonam Singh and
Diana Benson - let's hear from you.
Will you
be giving us any news on the 150 Year
Celebrations? It would be nice to see
a photo of the SJC I knew as I don't
recognise the new building. Keep up
the good work and thank you for
providing this site.

I
am a
keen and regular visitor of
PatnaDaily.Com. I feel compelled to
congratulate all the concerned people
behind this website for continuing an
excellent job and adding interesting
features. The responses from
PatnaDaily.Com visitors on the recent
Assam crisis shows its popularity.
Most of my friends in the UK have
become a fan of this website since I
first happened to visit it couple of
years ago by a mere chance. Some of my
English colleagues visit your website
for recipes.
Have you
given a thought to create a controlled
chat room for ... may be your
registered visitors? I know the common
problems associated with chat rooms
but it can provide a forum to interact
for likeminded people.

working as a scientist at Bangalore.
Its nice to see our school and college
names. But please include my
engineering college name "Maulana Azad
College of Engineering and
Technology". Besides, there are more
engineering college there like R.P.S.
Institute of Technology. Also include
Nalanda Medical College and Hospital,
it's very old and government medical
college, please include all this at
earliest. Thanking you.

I
was wondering if you could list some
of Patna's orphanages on this site. I
am adopted but I was found by a
orphanage called Sisters of Charity
ran by Mother Teresa and her sisters.
I know times have changed since I was
born but I was wondering if you could
tell me what orphanages there are in
Patna. I am hoping to find my family
roots. Never knew my biological
family.

It
was so nice to run into this site. I
went to P.N. Anglo Sanskrit School in Ramna,
then to Patna Collegiate and then
graduated from B. N. College and then
moved to Karachi in 1955. I then moved
to US in 1960. Since 1955 I never went
back to Patna until in December of
2000 and what a joy coming back to my
roots. I cannot explain.
The
beauty of the place and the sincerity
and affection I experienced is
unparalleled. I wish I had more time
but I want to go back and spend weeks
if not months in that wonderful place.
I lived in Dariyapur and also in
Langar Toli.
I
admire PatnaDaily.Com to do such
wonderful work in putting all the
pictures together. I hope they add
more pictures. I would like to visit
them when I come there next time.

Finally
I have found my favorite site where I
was born 39 years ago. At this very
moment my heart is beating as I have
just finished a marathon, it's from
all the excitement your photographs of
Patna has brought to me.
I
moved from Patna in 1978 to USA with
my family, I remember my days in Patna
every breathing day and how much I
miss my childhood day. We owned a
store in Patna Market in its heydays
named Burma Store which still exists
as Burma store. I was hoping if
someone could e-mail me a picture of
Burma Store.
I
studied at Notre Dame and then at St.
Michaels. I have been missing a dear
friend of mine since I moved here,
maybe you can assist me in finding
him. His name is Agam Kumar
Shrivastava, we both lived in Rajendra
Nagar road #1, he studied at St.
Xavier High School and went on to IIM
in Ahmedabad. His father had a
pharmaceutical company called Ailcure
or something like that. I would be
greatly indebted to you if you can
somehow get me in touch with my
beloved friend.
Please be kind enough and help me
locate my lost friend. God, only knows
how much I miss Patna and my memories
is my only consolation. I hope you
would be kind enough to hear my plea
and fulfill my request.

I
do not miss even a single day without
going through headlines of your
newspaper. However, I am interested in
knowing what happened to the 1960
Master Plan for Patna. I feel it is
accumulating dust in Patna Regional
Development Authority (PRDA). No
control on population explosion, ever
increasing poverty, no education. In
what direction Patna of ASHOKA is
going?

I
am looking for Anil Kumar Misra or his
brother Arun Kumar Misra. I live in
USA and used to study at A. N.
College. Is there any way I could get
his phone #? I think his house no is
315 in Pataliputra Colony. If you can
help me, that will be helpful.
