Good
Work, Keep it up. I really appreciate
your contribution of coming-up with
such a website which brings the Bihari
people together and to share their
views/ideas. Why can't we also be a
part of global revolution? Why are we
still the most backward state in
India?

I
found this web site very attractive
and very informative at the same time,
specially for those who are no longer
staying in this beautiful and
historical city. I just want to
mention one more thing that please do
add some information about St.
Michael's School, Digha, Patna also
because lots of students of this
school are located in different cities
of the world. My best wishes are with
you.

The
effort made by the developers of this
site is very nice. Now we can get
information about our own Bihar
through net. Here, I would like to
give one suggestion to the developers
- Can you please provide message board
facility on the site? It'll give as an
opportunity to say few words on the
related topics.

This
is the first time I've been to this
site and its great to see the city. I
am in Milan, Italy. I've finished my
Masters in Fashion Design and was just
looking for a site where I could see
my homeland. Thank you very much for
such a lovely site. You made my day.
I've
been to the PhotoGallery but there are
no pictures of Kankarbagh areas.
Please add some.

When in
India one of my fav dishes is chili
chicken. Searching many Indian
cookbooks a recipe is not to be found.
I was told that in India it is
considered a Chinese dish. Friends
there told me how to make it but for
me it was not quite the "real thing".
Then
I found your website and a recipe from
Mrs. Ranjana Lal. I have made it
several times and it is even better
than what I have had in India. My
thanks to you and also to Mrs Lal.
I
would also like to make another of her
recipes but have some questions about
the ingredients. Would it be proper
for me to request her to contact me at
frankeck@yahoo.com?
I
love your website. It brings back
happy times I experienced in Bihar.
(Vaishali dist, Patna, Muzaffarpur,
Dharbanga etc).
Thanks again.

I
am happy to reply to Riddhi's letter.
Unfortunately we don't get sattu here
in USA. Chicago has a bigger market
place than Dallas. If you cannot find
sattu there or in New York, then you
cannot find it in USA. Either you get
it from India or make it by buying
roasted chana and grinding it in a
grinder. But the taste is not the
same. Sattu chana is prepared in
special way.
However much I have tried to make
understand our Indian grocery store
owners, they do not get the concept of
sattu as they are mostly Gujratis and
South Indians. They tell me to use
besan instead.
Riddhi, if you like litti very much,
it can be made and enjoyed with other
stuffing too. I make it with aalu ka
bharta, hare matar ka bharta. In fact,
whenever I make litti, my daughters
ask me to make some with matar
stuffing and my husband likes aalu
bharta stuffing very much. So I make
litti with all three kind of stuffing.
Just make the stuffing a bit chatak.
Right now I myself am out of sattu so
come spring break, when my daughters
are back from college, I am planning
to make litti with aalu, matar and gud
stuffing. If you have sweet tooth, gud
stuffing is also very tasty. Hope this
helps some.
With
best wishes.

Thanks
PatnaDaily.Com. I love your site and I
appreciate that you guys have taken a
great step by taking Patna online. The
site's presentation is slick and
beautiful. I am from Patna, currently
working at InfoUSA, NE (USA) as a Sr
Software Engineer and it is your site
which offers me Patna and
Bihar-related news away from home .
Thanks for taking this step and I hope
that you publish few articles for us
as well, who are from Bihar, sons of
the same soil as you but living
abroad. Thanks and good luck.
