It
is really nice to see that there is
some source by which we can be
connected to Patna even when we are
far away from it. Thanks and all the
best.

I
have searched a number of sites, but
for the first time I m really
feeling that the Internet has really
brought revolution. For the first
time I am seeing the human face of
the Internet. I really appreciate
you all who are behind the formation
of such site. Everything is
marvelous particularly the 'lost
friend's page'.
I
am a native of Bihar but at present
very far away. Your site is such a
relief to me that I am not getting
words to praise you. My best wishes.

My
name is Monawar Khurshid. I am from
Patna, now residing in Canada. While
surfing the Net, I came across this
wonderful site, PatnaDaily.Com. I
was very happy and excited to find
it. Now every day, I log in to check
the daily news of Patna, the city I
adore the most in this world. Even
though I am so far, my soul is in
Patna. By having this website, it
has become so easy to be updated
about Bihar and my hometown. I miss
my family, friends and my culture
very badly. Thanks for the great
effort you all are putting in and
wish all the people associated with
PatnaDaily.Com. All the very best.
Keep it up.

PatnaDaily.Com
is a wonderful site. It keeps me in
touch with home. It has to be a
little un-biased towards Lalu
Prasad. This is for sure that
Brahmin rule or Bhumihar rule is not
going to return in Bihar and UP. The
twist and turn of Lalu's character
can bring BJP in power. BJP is dead
for good.

I
would like to convey my honest
credit to all of you for bringing
out such a fantastic website. I felt
as if I am back in Bihar. I was born
in Bengal and brought up in Jamalpur
(Munger) where my parents still
reside. I am in an IT firm based in
Thailand (Bangkok) for almost 2
years now, and will pass the good
word around with my contemporaries.

I
am Sanjay currently in Thailand,
born in Bhagalpur and closely
associated with Patna.
PatnaDaily is a connecting medium
for us Biharis with Patna and Bihar.
Shall be glad to see news/pictures
of Bhagalpur and some features too,
why not include these or other
cities of Bihar? I am sure we will
have more fan following and more
visitors to this website. I will
personally propagate about this
website to all Biharis I know and
come across.

It
was nice to visit your site. I came
here to Delhi in 1981 from Patna and
am quite nostalgic about my native
place and things from the place.
That is why it was a pleasant
surprise to have a look at a site
like this. Whatever people may say
about Bihar, I know we have talents
without limits. It is only that
politically we are exploited.
I
have one suggestion: why don't you
have one section to join you as
members so that each one can be
stored in your database and you can
offer a search facility for all
people from Bihar and alumni?

Greetings!!
I have gone through your site and
your mission. I appreciate your
effort to bring an exclusive portal
for Patna.
I
am out of Patna, since last 7 years
and totally out of touch from any
development.
There are many Biharis who live in
other states but want to contribute
to the development of their mother
land. I believe it will be a great
step to connect all Non Resident
Biharis (NRBs) from there
motherland.

Namaste!
I am very impressed with your
website and the news as well. I am
from the Philippines and I have my
beloved in Patna. His name is Sanjay
Kumar. This website of yours makes
it easy for me to understand your
culture as I find your culture very
rich.
I
would appreciate if I can be
provided with a street map of
Kankarbagh to make me familiar with
the area.

I
am a regular reader to your "Readers
Write" column. I must say I am
hooked on to read most of the
articles and letters that you have
on this section. Particularly one
writer - Mr. Raj Shekhar - his
expression is much refreshing and
poetic compare to some well known
current Indian writers. Does he
write for some other print media
too?
Olivia King
Editor's Note: Since we didn't have
any information on Mr. Shekhar, we
sent him an email about Ms. King's
curiosity and he was gracious enough
to send a prompt reply. He writes:
"It
was quite a flattering comment made
by your reader about me. I am afraid
I will have to be careful in my
future write-ups to keep up to her
expectations about my writings. All
I can say that whenever I write, I
'speak out' from my heart only and
rarely pay any attention to my mind.
I am not any established writer as
they use both, brains as well as
their hearts. I am like many others
who read your PatnaDaily and share
their thoughts. It is my privilege
that I participate in this column
from time to time.
I
thank you and everyone at PatnaDaily
for providing an excellent news
report from all corners of Bihar by
your team of expert journalists as
well as supporting a platform to
exchange views from your readers
like me and others." - Raj Shekhar
Well, thank you Mr. Shekhar. PD
certainly appreciates people like
you, Mr. Rajesh Chaubey, Mr. Rakesh
Chaubey, Mr. Rajesh Anand, Ms.
Pallavi Singh, Anjum Parwej, Dr.
Syed Waris Shere and a number of
others who routinely take time off
from their busy schedule to express
their views freely on PatnaDaily.Com
making it a lively place to be and a
place to share different ideas.
We want all of you to know that
though we don't always send a
personal 'thank-you' note to anyone,
we realize how important you are in
making PatnaDaily.Com the number one
site of Patna and Bihar. In this day
and time when politics takes
the center-stage on all national news
media, this may sound like a 'neta'
trying to appease voters for obvious
reasons but trust us, we have no
such ambition or interest and we
will continue to do what we do best
- report, and provide this site to
millions of people from Bihar who
have chosen to make PatnaDaily.Com
their homes away from homes. |

I
am glad to see this website here in
Delhi. There is a lot of
misconception about whole Bihar
state. When I was surfing the
Internet, one of my friends told me
that there is a website which is
Patna-centric. Here in Delhi, I am a
student of A.J.K. Mass Communication
Research Centre Jamia Millia Islamia
which is one of the best mass
communication institutions in Asia.
Delhi'ites use the word 'Bihari' in
a negative manner. Of course, in
some manner we are backward but not
in all areas. Bihar is the largest
civil servant producer in the
country but how many civil servants
want to or are ready to live in
Bihar? I think this is a serious
problem and we as Biharis must think
on this issue.

Proud
to be a Bihari, despite all the
current misgivings and past glories.
It won't be a bad idea to invite
some rich write-ups on literary
topics or current agendas that
plague Bihar that may shape a
positive revolution for change in
Bihar!

I
feel very proud of this web site.
This is the technological voice of
our state. For those who have
misconceptions about Bihar, this
form of communication will send a
positive reply to them. We can share
ideas through this site that will be
beneficial to everyone and we
can do something about developments
in Bihar.

I
have become a regular reader since
the time I came across your site.
Your Friendship corner is very very
useful and a very noble idea. But I
am not sure whether all those we are
searching for are aware of this
site. What needs to be done is to
inform people about the existence of
this site. Those who are abroad
should spread the message in their
circle by whatever method they find
suitable. In India you need to
advertise about it. Do something.
You can charge a little bit from the
readers also.

Hi,
I was looking for my school St.
Joseph's Convent on the net when I
happened to come across your
website. I would like to
congratulate you for your efforts.
All of us, people like me and many
others who were in Patna once upon a
time and cannot go back now, are
extremely grateful for the
'Friendship Corner' section
which can help locate one's
childhood friends. Some of the
extremely nostalgic and emotional
postings looking for friends long
lost, made me relive my school days
and other moments of childhood spent
in Patna. I can't thank you enough
for that. Keep up the good work.
Cheers.

I
want to thank you for all putting up
this site. It is a very good way to

thoughtful of you guys. I am

waiting for the day when corruption
(ends, is the right word) starts to

Thank you again for your efforts and
