Patna: Central Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Thursday met with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his 1 Anne Marg residence where the two discussed various plans for bringing development in Bihar's rural areas.
Kumar apprised Tomar of his 'Seven Resolves' that also includes providing running water and indoor toilets to each and every household in the state.
Seeking Center's assistance in attaining these goals, the Chief Minister once again expressed his disappointment with the NDA government saying the Center was not releasing adequate fund to spur growth in the region and that was a major cause of concern.
Tomar, who was in Patna to attend the engagement of the daughter of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Central Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, assured the Chief Minister that the Center was committed to provide all assistance to Bihar and he would do everything in his power to see Bihar continues to grow with other developing states.
Bihar Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar was also present at the meeting.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
