Tampa Bay, Fla: Residents from India at Tampa Bay, Florida in the US celebrated Holi, the festival of colors, with much zeal and enthusiasm to mark the advent of spring season.

With participation from people of all ages, it was time to have some good old-fashioned Indian fun involving both dry and wet color for which Holi is known for.

The event, as one can anticipate, featured traditional Holi music, dance, songs, and of course, 'thandaee', a special drink reserved for Holi in India.

With the entire Indian community bringing in traditional, mouth-watering food of their choice like Malpua, Dahibada, Dhokla, Pulao, Kachauri, Chicken, Egg Curry, Pakauri, Papadam, Gujia/Pedakia, Barfi, and other home-made items, it was no surprise then that once spread on the table, one could say that the display was fit for the royalty.

At several temples in region, including the famous 'Amba Ji Mandir' in Pinellas Park, Indians gathered to observe 'Holika Dahan' to symbolize the victory over iniquity.
