Patna: Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, shortly after the press conference of the Janata Dal – U leaders in Patna on Monday, held a press meet of his own to criticize Nitish Kumar saying the Chief Minister had hired five men for the sole purpose of verbally abusing the RJD leaders.
Speaking at the party office on Birchand Patel Marg, Singh said that those who were lecturing the RJD leaders of 'remaining within their limits' were themselves in the habit of using unparliamentary languages against those who they disagreed with.
"Nitish Kumar is not as clean as he pretends to be. His name appears in a murder case. Even the Supreme Court has asked details about this case that Nitish Kumar failed to reveal in his nomination papers. Before lecturing others, he needs to look within himself," he said.
Reacting to Nitish Kumar's description of the RJD rally in Bhagalpur as a 'political stunt', Singh said that after the JD-U leader insulted the mandate of the people, the public of Bihar was with Lalu Prasad Yadav who he described as the only leader who cared about backwards, Dalits, and Muslims.
The RJD leader also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for apparently 'gutting' education in India.
Without explaining how it was exactly Modi's fault, Singh went on a tangent lamenting poor education in India saying America, that has a population of roughly 30 crore has 5700 universities and colleges while India, which has a population of 130 crore has only 300 or so universities.
He also blamed the PM for economic stagnation in India saying the GDP of the country in March 2016 was 9.2% that has shrunk to a meagre 5.07% in June of this year.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
