Patna: Israeli Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon, at a meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his official residence in Patna on Thursday, said that his country was ready to help India build a number of agricultural research centers across the nation including two in Bihar.
The two research centers are currently being built in Vaishali and Nalanda districts.
The one in Vaishali would conduct modern scientific research on mangoes and litchis while the one in Nalanda would provide study and research in the area of vegetables, Carmon said.
The two research facilities in Bihar will also provide training to farmers so they are able to utilize the most modern equipment and technology to improve quality and production in fruits and vegetables, he said.
Chief Minister's Secretary Atish Chandra and Principal Secretary Chanchal Kumar were also present during the meeting.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
