Sikhs take out Shobha Yatra in Patna on Saturday.
Patna: Sikhs in Patna on Saturday took out an impressive 'shobha yatra' to mark 'Prakash Utsav' of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Gurus of the Sikh.

The colorful procession began and ended at the Gurudwara after passing Station Road, Exhibition Road, Gandhi Maidan, Frazer Road, and Dak Bungalow Crossing.

Devotees, keeping with the tradition, led the procession by sweeping the road for the main chariot with picture of Gurugranth Saheb on it. They were followed by the 'Panch Pyare' carrying swords marching ahead as women sung religious hymns to complete the picture.
Later, artists from Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Faridkot presented religious songs at the Patna City Gurudwara creating an amazing ambiance that was relished by one and all.
