Man Commits Suicide; Blames Wife, In-laws of Torture

Family members crying after the suicide of a man in Kankarbagh area.
Patna: A man in his late twenties in Patna on Friday committed suicide by hanging while also leaving a note in which he blames his wife and in-laws of physical and mental torture for almost an year leading him to take such extreme step.
The incident occurred in south Chitragupta Nagar under Patrakar Nagar police station in Kankarbagh.

As reported, Vishal Singh who worked at a private company as a marketing officer got married to a girl last year after the two dated each other for some time. Since then, Singh had been living with his wife at his in-laws' house in Chitragupta Nagar.
On Friday, Singh, after having his lunch with other family members, went to his room on the third floor of the building and locked himself in.
When he didn't come out of his room until late evening, family members broke open the door only to find him hanging from the ceiling fan.
Police found a 13-page hand-writte
n suicide note from the room in which Singh blames his wife, his father and mother in-law, brother-in-law, and another relative of the family for torturing him and even trying to burn him alive only a few days ago.
Authorities are investigating the case.
