Congress march to Governor's House on Friday.Congress march to Governor's House on Friday.Patna: Congress leaders, two days after one of their colleagues shamed the entire state of Bihar by her mad-like behavior in Bihar Assembly that is now an youtube sensation, met Governor Debananda Konwar on Friday and handed over a memo demanding the dismissal of the NDA government over the alleged financial irregularities in excess of Rs.11,412 crore.

Led by party state president Mehboob Ali Kaiser, the Congress leaders, besides demanding the dismissal of the NDA government, also asked for the removal of Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chowdhary who, they said, was acting as an agent of the ruling parties.

"The Governor was very gracious and he listened to our complaints patiently," Kaiser said.

The fact that the Congress chose to march to the Raj Bhawan separate from a similar march taken out by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), and Communist Party of India (CPI) a day ago is being seen as a message to the RJD/LJP combine that, some say, has become too toxic to be touched by any mainstream political party.

The luxury of meetings should be avoided, as this is a waste of time. Now is the time to do the homework. That office should not be turned into a coffee house.

It would be a good idea for all those leaders that go over there merely to pass time to do some gardening with spatula and forks in the backyard of rajbhawan for two hours. The importance of manual labour cannot be overemphasized in the country where half of manpower (human resources) remains unused. This will atone for some loss they cause by inciting people to go for strikes.
