Man electrocuted in Adalatganj in Patna.Patna: In a tragic incident, a man, on Thursday, died after coming in contact with high voltage electricity in Adalatganj in Patna under Kotwali police station.

The victim, who was identified as Harish Chandra Pathak, died on the spot after he came in contact with the high voltage current flow throughout his house due to some major technical snag.

While other members of the family were able to escape the current flow on time, Harish was not so lucky, said his brother Rupesh Chandra adding some members of the family were able to turn off the main switch but by then the victim's heart had quit beating.

Harish was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

An autopsy was scheduled to confirm the cause of the death, police said.
