Murdered Businessman Cremated; Family Members Sad, Angry

Slain businessman Vijay Bharatia who was gunned down by criminals in Patna City on Wednesday evening was given a very tearful farewell at Khajekalan ghat where his elder brother Sanjay Bharatia performed the last rites amidst the presence of hundreds of people including relatives, friends, acquaintances, businessmen, politicians, and even strangers.
Failing to contain their emotions any longer, wailing relatives cursed the criminals, the police and the entire district administration for not being able to keep crime in control that eventually led to two simultaneous deaths in the same family.
As recalled, Govind Rungta, upon hearing the news of the murder of his brother-in-law, also died at the hospital of heart attack.
The emotional cremation was also attended by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and party candidate from Patna East Nandkishore Yadav, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) candidate, Ramesh Chandra Kapoor, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Bharti Devi. Earlier, senior RJD leader and MP Ram Kripal Yadav met with the family members at their home and tried to console them by condemning the tragic incident.
