The
students of Magadh Mahila College under Patna
University, on Saturday, January 24, gave their
outgoing senior students a farewell that will
clearly remain in their minds and hearts for a
long time to come. At times even emotional, the
function, nonetheless, had joy filled in the air
with dance and music, speeches, followed by a
sumptuous dinner.
Apparently the
teachers and the young students had worked
painstakingly to make the evening a grand success
with stage brimming with color where teachers and
students expressed their good wishes and advices
for both junior and outgoing girls. The function
was emceed by Anshumala and Tripti, both second
year students of Chemistry, who kept the audience
enthralled and interested with their unique style
and 'shayari'.
Girls dance on
music played in the background left the audience
of nearly 300 including students and their family
members, teachers, professors, faculty members,
and other staff tapping their feet in rhythm.
Outgoing students were honored with gifts, a
gesture appreciated by one and all.
The function,
organized by Professor Dolly Sinha in cooperation
with Mr. S. Dutta, concluded with a feast fit for
royalty.
The graduating
girls, who possess the rare combination of both
modern and traditional values, thanks to a
fabulous teaching staff that never tires of
instilling positive attitude in its students, left
for their homes ready to take on the world
tomorrow.
