Bihar Police Denies Rumors of Nagpur Terrorists' Link with Bihar

The Patna police denied the terrorists who conspired to attack the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh (RSS) head office in Nagpur on early Thursday morning, were from Bihar though they may have been in the state capital a few days ago.
Director General of Police (DGP) Ashish Ranjan Sinha, while talking to reporters in Patna, disregarded the Mumbai police's assertion that the plan to attack the RSS office in Nagpur was hatched in Patna. "Based on what we know now, there is no indication that these terrorists had anything to do with Bihar," Sinha said adding the Maharashtra police is yet to contact its Bihar counterpart in this regard.
As reported in the media, the police in Nagpur, on early Thursday morning, gunned down all three terrorists, believed to be Laskhar-e-Toiba operatives who, armed to the hilt with assault rifles, bombs, and enough RDX to blow up the entire RSS campus, tried to sneak into the premises posing as police inspectors.
"If the Maharashtra police approaches us for information, they will have our complete and total cooperation," Sinha said while adding security at RSS office in Rajendra Nagar in Patna has been beefed up in view of the Nagpur incident.
