Over a dozen eminent 'shayars' from all over the country, on Friday in the open-air theater of Patna's Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir, enthralled the audience with their 'shers' and 'shayaris' for hours on the sixth day of the seven-day Takshila festival.
Among those who presented their rendition of famous 'shers' were famed 'shayar' Shaharyar, Sagar Khayyami, Rana Tabassum, Kaisar Siddiqui, Aftab Zia, Alam Khurshid, Abdul Saaz, Mumtaz Rashid, Shikha Srivastava, Saba Balrampuri, Johnyy Foster, Munawwar Rana, and Hashim Firozabadi.
Chief guest Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav praised all the participants and presented them with two free railway passes for travel anywhere in India.
Kaamna Prasad welcomed the guests and the audience.
