Patna: April 11, 2007

LJP rally agains Reliance Mobile. Photo by Shashi UttamDozens of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) activists in Patna on Wednesday staged a Gandhigiri march to the Reliance Mobile office located in the Biscomaun building to protest against poor connectivity though soon the so-called peaceful march turned ugly as the protestors clashed with the Reliance staff when they resisted taking roses from the LJP activists.

The march began at the Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan and reached at the Reliance office at the other end of the sprawling field.

At the Reliance office, the LJP leaders complained about the connectivity problem and to mock poor service, they tried to present the staff with flowers.

When the Reliance staff refused to accept the roses, the activists clashed with them scaring away other customers.

Finally to diffuse the situation, the Reliance employees took the flowers after which the protestors left the building, it was reported.
