Rabri is Getting Very Nervous; Says BJP Leader
Patna: April 12, 2007
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the party's state spokesperson Vinod Narayan Jha, at a press conference in Patna on Thursday, said that the leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly Rabri Devi was getting very nervous at the growing popularity of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and that is why she was making all kinds of absurd statements.
"Rabri Devi is becoming very panicky because the NDA government in Bihar, despite all the criticisms hurled against it by the opposition leaders, continues to gain popularity among the people. She sees no future for her party in Bihar and that is making her very queasy," said Jha.
Jha was commenting over Rabri Devi's recent remarks on Nitish Kumar's Janata Darbar calling it a joke and designed to 'fool the people'.
"By raising questions about the janata darbar, Rabri Devi is showing her feudal mentality because the RJD government was never about the welfare of the poor people. It pretended to be the poor people's party and fooled the people for over 15 years but in the end, the voters realized they had been hoodwinked and they were not going to take it anymore," the BJP leader said.
