Laden's CD with Invitation to Terrorism Appears in Bihar

Patna: April 13, 2007

The state police is investigating the shocking surfacing of Compact Disks containing the images of world's most wanted terrorist and Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden exhorting Muslims all over the world to join the jihad against the infidels while featuring scenes from various terrorist camps.

The CDs, shot in Arabic language with English subtitles, have been recovered from many areas in Patna and Bhojpur districts and features women with assault rifles and other weapons at terrorist training camps asking Muslim youths to join the holy war.

It also asks the Muslims to join the 'freedom fighters' in Kashmir to wage war against India, reports said.

"We are trying to find how these CDs made their way to Bihar," said Anil Sinha, IG (Headquarters) in Patna.

The police are analyzing the content of the CD with the help of language experts in the hope of getting identifying Al Qaeda operatives in Bihar, Sinha said.

The CDs containing Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's speeches urging Muslims to join the 'Jehad' (holy war) have surfaced in the rural pockets of Patna and adjoining Bhojpur districts in Bihar.
