Man Found Dead in Train

Man found dead in a passenger train at Patna Junction. Photo by Shashi UttamRailway officials at Patna Junction discovered the dead body of an old man, believed to be in his sixties, from a passenger train on platform number 7, Government Railway Police (GRP) inspector Alok Kumar Singh said.

The deceased person's body was covered with mud and dirt indicating he may have been murdered in a nearby field and dumped into the train, Singh said.

His body was sent to the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) for an autopsy.

The police are trying to identify the body and have launched an investigation to find the killers.
