8-year old Boy Murdered, Body Recovered

 The police in Deedarganj on Tuesday recovered the dead body of 8-year old Munna, the son of a fish vendor Rajendra Sahni who went missing on Monday afternoon, prompting a search operation that unfortunately had a tragic ending.
As reported, Munna's body was recovered from a shallow grave at the bank of the Ganges under Deedarganj police station.
During the autopsy, the police found strangulation to be the cause of Munna's death, officials said.
The police have arrested Shankar Sahni, a neighbor of Rajendra Sahni, on suspicion of killing the boy.
The victim's father told the police that Shankar had been holding some grudge against them for some time and to get even, he abducted the boy and killed him.
The police have launched an investigation to get to the bottom of the case.
