Hyderabad: Aug. 25, 2007
At least 40 people were killed and scores injured in two powerful bomb blasts that ripped apart an amusement park and a local popular eatery in Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday evening.
Authorities said the attacks could be the handiwork of Lashkar-e-Toiba, a Pakistan-based terrorist outfit, in close coordination with Bangladesh-based terror group Harkat-ul Jihad Islami.
Security has been beefed up in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and New Delhi, reports said.
