The ladies wing of the Punjabi Biradari in Patna on Saturday organized a day-long 'Shrawan Milan' contest presenting dances and songs fit for the occasion in the presence of Chief Justice Seema Ali Khan who, along with two others, was also chosen to adjudge the winners.

Featuring other events like fashion show, dances and songs for women over 45, and Bumper Housie, the day at Hotel Maurya progressed with 'Shrawan-based' music and songs keeping the participants tapping their feet and moving their bodies to the rhythm of songs late into the evening.

While Archana was adjudged the best 'theme dancer', the second and third places went to Geetu Jain and Shilpi respectively.

In the 'over-45' category, Asha Singh was crowned with the 'Sawan Queen' title while Rani Gupta being the first runner-up.

While Sanya Arora won the best Sari competition, Dr. Sandhya Ahuja and Seema Seth won the Housie contest winning a DVD player in prize.
