In a new twist to the double suicide involving a mother and her 3-year old son that shocked the residence of Kankarbagh on Sunday, the police, during the search of her flat in Patrakar Nagar on Monday, discovered a suicide note left by the woman stating the decision to end her and her son's lives was her own and wished their body parts donated to some needy patients.
The note was discovered from under a writing pad stating that she was tired of her life and had decided to end her and her son's lives on her own accord.
The woman, who was identified as Sunita, also desired to be cremated together with her son Rahul and their body parts donated to poor, needy patients, the police said.
Concluding the case positively as suicides, Patrakar Nagar police station in-charge Nikhil Kumar said during the course of investigation, the police had discovered Sunita was short-tempered, obsessive, and of unstable mind.
As reported earlier, Sunita and her son, on Sunday, were found hanging from a ceiling fan. Her husband Jitendra Kumar had gone to Hazaribagh to attend the engagement ceremony of Sunita's sister when Sunita decided to end her and her son's lives.
The police, however, continue to quiz Jitendra who denies any involvement in the deaths of his wife or his son.
