Thieves Break into Chhapra Judge's House in Patna

Patna: Dec. 7, 2007

Burglars in Dujrachak area under Budhha Colony police station sometimes in last few weeks broke into the house of a District and Sessions Judge of Chhapra court R. N. Sharma and stole items valued at over Rs. 40,000, the police said.

As reported, Sharma who has a two-storied house in Dujrachak area, returned to his home on Friday morning only to found it to be broken into.

While the ground floor of the house had been vacant for quite some time, the Judge himself lived upstairs whenever he came to Patna.

On Friday morning when he returned to his home after a gap of few months, he found the locks broken and his home ransacked with many valuable items missing.

Sharma filed an FIR with the Buddha Colony police station.

No arrest has been made in the case.
