CBSE and AIEEEE candidates, after failing to acquire exam forms at the Rajendra Nagar branch of Syndicate Bank in Patna on Monday went on a rampage destroying bank property and blocking the road for more than an hour.

The bank that was selling forms to the students said it simply ran out of application forms by noon that sparked the wrath of the candidates who, in large numbers, entered the bank and using batons and iron rods, broke glass windows, computer equipment and other office properties to the tune of several thousand rupees.

In order to get control of the situation, the police resorted to mild lathi charge. After more than an hour, the road was finally cleared and the students retreated to their homes leaving behind a mess that were being still cleared till the time of reporting.

Disappointed and angry by the students' rowdy behavior, the bank officials announced their decision to not sell the forms any longer.
