RJD MP Motiurrahman Dies of Heart Attack

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and MP Motiurrahman, following a heart attack on early Tuesday morning died at his residence in Khodanagar in Motihari district, family members of the MP said.
As reported, the RJD national spokesperson went to sleep on Monday night but he never woke up again. In the morning, family members found him unconscious in his bed.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was announced dead.

Motiurrahman apparently had a heart attack at around 4:30 am that proved to be fatal in his case.
The MP leaves behind his wife, two sons, four daughters, and a brother, family members said.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, among many others, expressed their grief over Motiurrahman's death calling it premature and tragic.
The MP would be given a state funeral at his ancestral village of Dhaka in Motihari district..
Motiurrahman entered into politics by joining Congress in 1972. He later joined the RJD in the 90's.
In another unrelated incident, the mother of Congress state president Sadanand Singh, Smt. Rajeshwari Devi also died at her home in Patna on Tuesday.
She was 95.
