Photo by Shashi UttamFollowing the shocking recovery of the answer papers of Intermediate exams from a trash bin in Patna, dozens of students belonging to the students wing of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) took out a rally against the Education minister and burnt his effigy on Tuesday.

Holding the recovered answer papers in their hands, the students chanted anti-Education Minister slogans and burnt the effigy of Brishin Patel and Education Secretary Madan Mohan Jha demanding their immediate removal.Students Burn Effigy of Education Minister. Photo by Shashi Uttam

"Bureaucracy under the Nitish government is at a new height which is taking its toll on the students," the protestors said.

Joining the rally, Samata Party state secretary Shatrughan Pandey accused the government of destroying the education system in Bihar by continuing to experiment with it.
