Petrol Pump Owner Feared Kidnapped in Aurangabad

Patna: July 8, 2007

Kidnappers in Bihar struck again on Saturday when they picked up a prominent gas station owner in Aurangabad district as he returned to his home after closing his shop late evening, Superintendent of Police (SP) S. K. Khopade said on Sunday.

Rajnish Khemka, after a long day of work, closed his shop but failed to return home located less than a kilometer from his business establishment, his uncle Atmaram Khemka told the police.

Attempts to contact him on his mobile turned futile as both of his phones appeared to have been switched off.

Some people in the area claimed Khemka was forced into a white car and taken to an unknown location.

Khopade said raids were being conducted to recover the missing businessman.
