Building Caretaker Found Murdered in Rajendra Nagar

Patna: July 9, 2007

The police in Patna on Monday recovered the dead body of a 60 year old man from an apartment complex under construction in Rajendra Nagar area and sent it to the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) for an autopsy.

The victim was identified as Ramchandra Prasad, a native of Hilsa, who worked as the caretaker for the builder of the apartment complex Bhawesh Sharma.

During the preliminary investigation, the police said Prasad appeared to have been killed on late Sunday night and signs of injuries on his head appeared to have been caused by a blunt object like hammer or shovel.

The police is investigating the case from various angles not ruling out anything at this time, Kadam Kuan police station in-charge Ajay Kumar said.
