Opposition leaders, on the last day of the week-long monsoon session of the Bihar Assembly on Wednesday, maintained their attack on the Nitish government calling it anti-people, anti-dalit, anti-women, and just about every conceivable name to establish the Lalu-Rabri rule was the golden era in the recent history of Bihar despite highly contradicting facts.
Leading the pack of the slogan-shouting opposition leaders, RJD leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, along with her leftist followers like Congress, CPI and CPM, demonstrated their despise for the NDA government calling it a failure on all accounts.
Demanding check on rising incidents of crime in Bihar, implementation of Sachchar Committee report, and probe into alleged irregularities in the appointments of teachers, the RJD leaders staged dharna to make their points.
Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leaders held their own protest demanding check on bureaucracy, appointments of public teachers, stop on female exploitation, rectification in BPL list, and several of their other demands.
The opposition also entered into the well when the Speaker of the house, during the zero hour, refused to entertain their demand to cancel the session over atrocities on women in Bihar.
