Two Dead in Bus-Motorcycle Collision

Two men died when a speeding bus on New Bypass Road under Kankarbagh police station on Tuesday hit an oncoming motorcycle killing one person on the spot while a second passenger later succumbed to his injuries at the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMC), officials said.

The victims were identified as 23-year old Ravikant and 22-year old Kartik, both residents of Nadwan village under Dhanarua police station.

Driver of the bus managed to escape with the bus before a crowd could stop him, the police said.

The police was able to disperse the crowd before it could form a road block in protest.

Authorities are trying to identify the bus and its driver, the police said.
