Coaching Institute Owner Shot Dead

Criminals in Saidpur area under Kadam Kuan police station on late Friday night shot and killed the owner of a coaching institute owner causing a widespread protest in the area as angry young men and business owners, on Saturday, blocked the road and burnt tires demanding for a quick arrest of the killers.

Sunil Kumar, the Kadam Kuan police station in-charge, said Vishnu Kumar, the 24-year old owner of the coaching institute was lured away from his home on Friday night by two men he knew.

The criminals then shot Vishnu to death and left his body lying at the Kachri Gali, the police said.

Two men have been detained in the case who are being interrogated by the police, town DSP Sushant Kumar Saroj said.

"We do have some clues in the case and we expect to make more arrests very soon," the DSP said.
