CM's Wife's Condition Unchanged; Nitish in Delhi

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's wife Manju Sinha who was flown to New Delhi's Max hospital on Tuesday after developing pneumonia and severe infection in chest, continued to be under expert's watch on Thursday as the doctors put her on a ventilator after complaints of trouble in breathing.
Kumar, who stood beside his wife in the hospital for a majority of the time, delayed his return to Patna on Thursday until further notification, officials in Delhi said.
Mrs. Sinha whose pneumonia appears to be under control, continues to have breathing problem due to severe chest infection, remained on ventilator until the doctors deem safe.
As reported earlier, the Chief Minister's wife was first taken to Sri Ram Nursing Home in Kankarbagh in Patna. However, as her situation worsened, the doctors advised her to be checked up by lungs specialists in New Delhi.
Mrs. Sinha, accompanied by the Chief Minister and a host of physicians, was then flown to Max Hospital in New Delhi in an Air Ambulance aircraft on Wednesday.
