Railway Official's House Burglarized; Goods Worth Rs. 4 Lakh Stolen

House burglarized. Photo by Shashi UttamCriminals in Patna on late Sunday night broke into the house of railway official Ramashankar Singh in New Railway Colony under Gandhi Maidan police station and got away with cash, jewelries, clothes and other items to the tune of Rs. 4 lakh.

The burglary took place when Singh, along with his family members, had gone to Bihta to attend his brother-in-law's wedding.

Seeing the flat without any caretaker, thieves broke into the house by busting the lock after which they had all night to clean up the premises.

When the family returned from Bihta on Tuesday morning, they discovered their flat turned upside down with all valuables gone.

No arrest has been made in the case yet.
