Paswan Honors War Hero in Hajipur; Makes More Promises

Photo by Shashi UttamUnion Steel and Fertilizer Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, while inaugurating a free health camp at Pantepur in Vaishali district on Saturday, said he was in talks with senior officials to set up an integrated steel plant and a heart hospital in Hajipur that would bring unprecedented economic prosperity in the district.

The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief said he had held discussions with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on these issues and he has agreed on providing the required land for the two projects.

SAIL chairman S. K. Rungta and Bokaro Steel managing director B. K. Srivastava was also present on the occasion.

Paswan also unveiled a statue of Mauji Sahni, a son of the soil and a 1971 war hero who was honored with Veer Chakra for his valor and bravery.
