Motorcycle Thieves Gang Busted

The Kankarbagh police in Patna on Friday busted a gang of motorcycle thieves and arrested three members of the gang, all in their teens, while also recovering a stolen motorcycle from their possession, station in-charge Ramakant Prasad said.
The police also arrested two junk dealers who bought the stolen vehicles. A large quantity of motorcycle parts were recovered from their shops, the police said.
Prasad said two cases of stolen motorcycles were reported in the last week.
On Friday, seeing three suspicious-looking young men standing near Panchmandir, the police brought them to the police station. During their interrogation, the three young men admitted of running a motorcycle stealing gang and led the police to two junk dealers from where the two stolen motorcycles were recovered.
The youths were identified as Munna, Pintu, and Sonu – all residents of Kankarbagh, while the junk dealers were identified as Jitendra and Rajesh.
