Yet Another Super Success for Super-30 Students

While Bihar was still celebrating the extraordinary result of the 10th-grader Manish Kumar, a Patna resident schooled at Gyan Niketan who topped the CBSE exam held nationwide by earning 99.4%, people of Bihar had even more reason to rejoice when the news of 28 of the 30 students of the world-famed Super-30 institute acing the rigorous IIT-JEE exam were announced.
At a press meet on Wednesday, Super-30 founders Additional Director General of Police Abhayanand and math genius Anand Kumar read the names of 28 students who cracked the IIT-JEE exam the results of which were announced on Tuesday.
The remaining two of the 30 handpicked students were also expected to succeed, Abhayanand said adding their results of the two students were held back on some technical issues.
Ten of the top-1000 students to get admission in the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) are from the Super-30, founders of the coaching institute said. The students and their ranks in India are: Pranav Prince (162), Udita Singh (209), Jyotish Kumar (265), Abhishek Kumar (327), Abhay Kumar (439), Kishore Kumar (645), Roshan Singh (741), Ranjit Kumar (827), Ashutosh Kumar (842), and Raju Kumar (998).
Others from the Super-30 to compete in the exam are Abhishek, Abhishek Kumar Tekriwal, Abhishek Anand, Abhishek Kumar, Abhijeet Patel, Anav Kumar, Soni Jaiswal, Gaurav Gautam, Varun Kumar Mishra, Prasun Kumar, Manish Kumar Sinha, Vishal Kumar, Raman Kumar Singh, Rahul Kashyap, Vibhash Jha, Roshan Raj, Monu Kumar, and Shyam Ratan.
Super-30 was formed by Abhayanand and Anand Kumar to help students with humble background and limited means prepare for entrance in the IIT. 30 students with such backgrounds are handpicked by Abhayanand and Kumar who are then given extensive coaching and other helps to crack the IIT-JEE test that remains a distant dream for many students despite their stellar educational background.
