Five-year old Boy Crushed by Speeding Truck

 The deadly roads of Patna took yet another life in the city when a speeding truck ran over 5-year old Saurabh near Ramkrishna Nagar under Beur police station on Monday morning killing him instantly.
The tragedy occurred around 10:00 am when Saurabh, along with his father Dharmendra Kumar, was going to Mithapur bus station to visit his maternal grandmother. Before they could get out of the harm's way, a speeding truck hit the boy throwing him several feet in the air killing him on the on the spot.
Before long, a riot broke out as the angry crowd blocking the road attacked passing by vehicles while completely torching a private bus owned by the  Tirupati Travels.
It took more than an hour and a mild lathi charge by the Beur and Jakkanpur police station to disperse the crowd and restore normalcy in the region.
Saurabh's body was taken by the police and sent to the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, the police were trying to identify the truck driver who managed to escape in his truck after the accident.
