Gigantic Information Display Set-up on Bailey Road

 Information and Public Relations Minister Arjun Rai, in Patna on Thursday, inaugurated the new, state-of-the-art electronic information board at the New Secretariat crossing to bring latest news and information about the state that would keep the passers-by informed about the happenings in and around Patna round the clock.
Besides displaying time and current weather conditions, the information board would also be used to notify the public of the government's various schemes in an attempt to encourage people to learn more about them and help maintain transparency in the system, Rai said.
Similar displays will also be installed at two more prominent locations; one of them being the busy Dak Bungalow crossing and the other yet to be decided.
The ministry also distributed copies of a magazine highlighting the achievements of the Nitish government during its two years of rule in Bihar.
