"Without any evidence, my men and I were arrested on cooked up charges. The media went was frothing in its mouth and we were sent to the jail to spend nights with hard-core Naxalites," Singh. who was arrested on November 1 and released on November 7, said.

"This was a clear attempt to malign me and the entire NDA government and many politicians from the other side of the aisle willingly and actively took part in this conspiracy. It is now incumbent on the state police to unmask these politicians and take actions against them," said the legislator.
