Photo by Shashi UttamIn a tragic incident, a woman and her daughter died when a wall of the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) collapsed on an adjacent slum near Adalat Ghat under Pirbahore police station on Tuesday afternoon burying several huts under it.

The victims were identified as 25-year old Rekha Devi and her 5-year old daughter Nisha, the police said.

The bodies of the victims were sent to the PMCH for autopsies, the police said.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Ram Kripal Yadav visited the site of accident and tried to console the grieving family members.

Meanwhile, the district administration has given Rs. 10,000 to the victim's husband and father Manoj Sao for the cremation of his wife.
