Rahul Gandhi Supporters Burn Effigies of Terrorists
Patna: Nov. 20, 2007
Members of the so-called Rahul Gandhi Youth Brigade in Patna on Tuesday burnt the effigies of the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists who allegedly tried to kidnap the Congress leader and the heir-apparent to the Nehru dynasty as was reported in some national media a few days ago.
Brigade president Rajesh Shukla said that the entire Nehru-Gandhi family had always been in the crosshair of those who disliked them and were determined to keep them from occupying power in Delhi.
"Rahul Gandhi is not only an inspiration for millions of youths in India, he is also the future Prime Minister of the nation," Shukla said.
The outfit's general secretary Ibrar Ahmed Reza said that just like Rahul's father and former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by the LTTE terrorists; some other foreign terrorists were hatching plans to eliminate Rahul Gandhi from joining politics.
