Vardhan, in Patna on Thursday, said while the party did not wish a mid-term elections in the nation, it could not remain a bystander while the Central government danced to the tunes of the United States of America.

"Our fight against imperialism and fascism will continue irrespective of which party is in power at the Center," Vardhan said of the UPA government in view of the nuclear agreement with the U.S.

Accusing the Manmohan government of going against the principles of the coalition government, Vardhan said the UPA government had failed to comply with the Common Minimum Program and therefore, it should be ready to face protests from the left parties.
