Jansadharan Express Passengers Robbed in North Bihar

Train passengers in Bihar were once again victimized by the out-of-control train robbers who, on late Tuesday night, boarded the Jansadharan Express between Chhapra and Gorakhpur and after roughing up a few passengers, robbed them of their cash and valuables to the tune of several lakh rupees.
As reported, over a dozen armed criminals entered the bogey number05411GS of Ahmedabad-Muzaffarpur Jansadharan Express at Gorakhpur Cantonment station. Using knives and pistols, the criminals forced the passengers to give up their cash and valuables. Those who showed the slightest resistance were beaten up by the criminals.
After victimizing more than a hundred passengers, the criminals alighted from the train at Sardarnagar station and disappeared in the cover of the darkness.
Aggrieved passengers later reported the robbery at Chhapra railway station. An FIR was lodged based on the accounts of one of the passengers.
