Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, before taking off in his so-called 'Gareeb Rath' to drum up support for his upcoming anti-NDA rally on Thursday, challenged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to hold mid-term polls in Bihar saying he would 'hit his ball off the stadium for a six' indicating he was ready to uproot NDA and wrestle power from it in the state.
"Nitish Kumar dreams of getting me out on zero, but I will hit his ball so hard, no one would be able to find it," Yadav using cricket lingo, said at a press conference at party headquarters in Patna.
Refusing to talk about his own political record in Bihar, Yadav continued his assault on the Nitish government saying the state government was deliberately not providing lands for a number of railway projects because 'it would make Nitish Kumar look very bad in the eyes of the public'.
The plans I have for Bihar would change the shape of Bihar once and for all and this is what scares the Chief Minister. If he is so confident about his leadership, I dare him to hold elections in the state and then the facts will be separated from fiction," Yadav said.
