Dreaded Madhepura Criminal Buchchan Yadav Arrested

The police in Madhepura on Wednesday succeeded in arresting the district's one of the most notorious gangster Buchchan Yadav who had been wanted by the authorities for more than a decade for his involvement in a number of criminal cases including murders and armed robberies.
Yadav was getting protection from some very prominent politicians in the former Lalu-Rabri regime, the criminal confessed during his 3-hour long police interrogation, sources said. He also has close ties with some high-profile Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leaders, the police said.
The wannabe politician who said he has been promised to contest next Assembly elections on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) tickets was sent to jail after taking him into 14-day judicial remand.
With Yadav's arrest, the police is hoping to soon nab his equally notorious goons including Pintu Yadav, Dilip Yadav, and Kedar Yadav, officials said.
