Photo by Shashi UttamThe Gandhi Maidan police, on Wednesday, brought back the allegedly missing deputy manager of the State Food Corporation (SFC) Mohan Kujur from Agra where he had been residing since June 20 after he was reported kidnapped by his wife on July 17.

Kujur's wife Kalora, in her FIR with the Gandhi Maidan police, had expressed her apprehension about her husband possibly been kidnapped while on his way to Muzaffarpur from Patna on June 20.

The police, during the course of its investigation, however, learnt that Kujur was living an anonymous life in Agra to evade arrest for his alleged involvement in a financial irregularity case within the SFC.

Kujur, a native of Jharkhand state, was posted in Muzaffarpur and was being investigated by a departmental team for his alleged involvement in a financial scam, Gandhi Maidan police station in-charge Mundrika Prasad said.

The police said it was considering possible criminal charges against Kujur.
