St. Michael's Student Reported Kidnapped from Patna

Patna: Sept. 7, 2007

Even as the Bihar police remains clueless in the abduction of 11-year old DAV student Akaash who was kidnapped by unidentified criminals on August 10 while going to school, yet another Patna student has been reported abducted as 13-year old Rishabh went missing from St. Michael's High School campus on Friday afternoon.

School authorities, during the search of the missing teen, found his school bag under a tree with a short note in it by Rishabh's abductor saying the boy had been kidnapped.

The victim's father Vijendra Kumar who runs an auto rental business, said as always, he arrived at the school at 1:30 to pick up his son. After not being able to find Rishabh, a search was conducted in the school when the officials discovered his bag under a tree.

A case of abduction has been lodged with the Digha police station. A search is on to recover the boy, officials said.
