Vishwakarma Puja Celebrated in Patna

Lord VishwakarmaWorkers in Patna on Monday celebrated Vishwakarma Puja with usual enthusiasm and spirit by offering prayers to the Lord of artisans and engineers and cleaning and polishing their tools as a mark of respect to their profession.

With Lord Vishwakarma's statues in nearly all factories and offices, workers, while staying away from doing any actual work, came to their places of work to celebrate the puja, and their tools that literally earns them bread and butter on a daily basis.

Despite the closure of all factories and plants – both large and small - traffic in Patna remained unaffected as devotees started to arrive at their work places from early morning to offer prayers and collect the 'prasad'.

After the conclusion of the puja, most stayed over to check their tools were in good shape to begin their routine work from Tuesday.
